The Greater Shediac Chamber of Commerce held, this past Saturday, February 17th, its 6th Recognition Gala to a packed house at the Shediac Multipurpose Centre.
More than 170 people from the business community, the political arena and the public attended this annual Excellence Awards ceremony hosted by the Greater Shediac Chamber of Commerce.
Glenwood Kitchen Ltd took home top honours, receiving the award for Business of the Year. This award recognizes a company that contributes to job creation in the region, that is a model for the business community and that demonstrates a commitment to the community.
The award for Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year was given to Eugene Brydges from Shediac Home Hardware that saw significant growth this past year. This award is given each year to an entrepreneur that experiences growth and shows innovation and leadership.
The Greater Shediac Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce its new partnership with Vienneau Insurance. This means eligible GSCC members and their active and retired employees may qualify for reduced premiums on automobile and home insurance products with Vienneau Insurance.
Ron Cormier, President, GSCC, is confident that the new benefit offered to Chamber members and their employees represents a new advantage of being a part of our local chamber of commerce.
